YUM YUM

I saw Jessica Seinfeld on Oprah with her new cookbook. I had to have it and now I'm a cooking machine. All the recipes have puree vegetables in them. It's wonderful, Nick and Joshua are getting their veggies and they don't even know it. Each recipe usually calls for 1/2 cup of the puree, so my freezer if full of little 1/2 cup increments of squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, pumpkin and cauliflower.
Here are some banana nut muffins and mozzarella sticks (both with cauliflower).

I am so proud. For one, I'm cooking and for two, I'm being sneaky healthy all at once.

4 I've got something to say:

I think it's awesome that you are sneaking the veggies in...we have to make the boys get them however they can! I had a cake once that had ground up carrot, zuccini, even onion! I couldn't taste any of it! Maybe you will have to send me some recipes!

I like her book. THere is another one called the Sneaky Chef which is good and the same stuff. It may have more recipes.
I hate veggies, so I decided my baby won't and I make all her food like Tomatos and spinach.
Angelee I miss you.

I am really lucky because Heidi just loves vegetables. Yesterday I asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said, "Well do we have broccoli and celery and carrots?" Don't ask me where she learned it but she loves vegetables. Good job on your cooking.
