Meet the new hat

We are finally starting to landscape our back yard so we went to the nursery to buy some trees. While there Joshua fell in love with this hat. So, of course his grandmother bought it for him and it has provided hours of fun. This is just one of the fun things you can do with the hat. He puts it on, covering his eyes, and runs full force. He has also done this with his blanket and that has ended poorly in the past-running into walls, people and chairs. But I don't worry about the hat anymore...
He can see though the top part. I don't think he has complete vision through the straw, but enough to keep him clear of hard objects. Other games include: putting it on and taking it off over and over again, loading all his toys inside and throwing the hat in the air and watching the stuff fly out, putting it on us and taking it off over and over again, playing peek-a-boo from underneath it and one of the most fun is putting it on the ground and then jumping on top of it. Good times.

3 I've got something to say:

Who knew a hat could be so much fun? That is so exciting that you are landscaping your backyard you will have to post pictures when you finish! Will you be around at Thanksgiving?

I expect your yard to look comprable to the Robertsons or I will have nothing to do with it :)! Good luck with the yard, I'm sure that it will look nice.
