In our household we celebrate the small things. And yesterday, we celebrated. We feel like we finally had a break through with Joshua at church. We sat through all of Sacrament Meeting without any major fits. No running into the isle. No having to go out with Dada. No M&M bribes. He just played with Thomas and James and ate his snacks. We've never had a hard time getting him to go to Nursery (actually yesterday I got talking after Sacrament Meeting and lost track of him and when I found him he was already down at Nursery). But, he has always done his own thing in there. Except for yesterday. We were so proud of our Bolo. It was our turn in Nursery and he sat in his chair for snack (not under the table this time), he sat in the circle and listened to the lesson, he melted like a snowman with all the other children and he played with other kids during toy time. Normally he runs around, steals other children's snack, turns the lights on and off and does whatever he wants. I don't want to make him out as the bad nursery child, but he sort of is. He is the youngest in Nursery, so we find comfort in perhaps that being the reason. Anyway, here's to the hope that he has turned over a new leaf.
