Don't think you're going to get a picture with this post, but it's happened. My jeans are just a little too tight for comfort these days. Had I not mentioned to Nick that I could barely breathe, I would still squeeze into them, but he has become the pants police and won't let me. So, I dug out my old maternity clothes and quickly realized that I only had one pair of pants because Joshua was a summer pregnancy. So, I went shopping for some jeans. And here comes my rant. Right after I had Joshua I noticed there were so many cute maternity clothes out there. Where were they when I needed them??? But now, now that I can buy them again, where are they? We are in clothing slump again and again I am out of luck. I know, there are worse things.

8 I've got something to say:
I had the same problem this time around too! Its not fair :(
I ended up having to buy some online which I wasn't overly thrilled about.
Good luck finding some cute ones :)
I wore regular shirts from down east outfitters. They are similar to the shade shirts but about half the price. They were nice because they stretched with my stomach, I could still wear them afterwards, and I think I looked much cuter this time. They weren't frumpy at all. You can buy them online.
I tried calling you to see how you were doing. Maybe next time I will be able to catch you on the phone.
I have that same problem. I often wonder if they are cute because I am breezing by and if I actually went into the store to buy something if they would be that cute. Becuase every time I need clothes there is NOTHING! I feel your pain! :-)
Oh I so know how you feel. The first moment you realize that you can't fit into your normal clothes anymore is kinda depressing!! And then when you go maternity shopping you don't think you'll ever fit into all those clothes...but you do!! I know what you mean too with the cute clothes. They come out right after your baby is born!!! Congrats again...do you guys know what you are having??
When I was in Las Vegas I went to some huge maternity outlet and I tried on a 200 dollar pair of maternity jeans just for kicks, and I almost wanted to buy them they were so cute and comfortable. There is a reason that they were 200 bucks! Not that you need to spend 200 bucks, but go to Sac. and go find some jeans that will be awesome and that you can wear everyday. They are out there...just maybe not in Chico. good luck shopping. Wait until I get there and we can go shopping together!
I think you should protest and just wear your normal clothes the whole time, the upside you would fit in with people from Oroville. Just kidding if that didn't make you smile then it was a waste.
I found my favorite pair of maternity jean at Old Navy. Motherhood Maternity also has some great ones that grow with your belly so they fit the entire pregnancy. They were a little more expensive but so worth it when they still fit as well at 9 months as they did at 5. Good luck. I feel your pain.
I was talking to LeAnne about this the other night and we want to have a Pregnant girl shopping trip to Roseville! Wanna come?
