the week.

It's been one of those weeks...the necessary week before a holiday. The getting ready week. I think I love these kinds of weeks. I am one who waits to Christmas shop because I love the frenzy of it. The weather has actually been cold. Joshie keeps his hat on the whole time we're outside, in the store and back in the car. I've been making goodies for our goodie plates. Our lights are up. Joshie has had a very runny nose (our coats are covered in his snot). Last night Nick and I went down town and got our very fav pizza and pigged out on it. I'm getting a pedicure with Jo today because tomorrow is Nick's Christmas party. We love getting Christmas cards in the mail everyday. We love 95.1 and all the Christmas music. We watch all the Christmas cartoons on TV. Joshie loves the Thomas the Train wrapping paper under the tree. He checks it out everyday. I think I'll do some more Christmas shopping today while Shom is at his Grandma's house. I've gone borderline out of control buying pink stuff for our baby. And if I have to read one more Mercer Mayer book I am going to scream. Bolo will bring one to me (Just go to bed, Just me and my dad, the new baby or I was so mad) and we'll read it over and over again. And if I pause, heaven forbid, he will point to the words and if that doesn't work he'll reach up and wiggle my mouth. Love that kid.
