This is the time of year that we celebrate their birthdays. Their birthdays are a week apart. I won't say whose older though. She is my mom's sister and he married her back when she was so mean to me. Granted, I was five and she didn't like that I broke my grandma's stuff, but still. She's much nicer now. Over the years he has mellowed her out and she hasn't dumped out my sand box in like 23 years.

We love having Darryl in the family. He is always ready to help with a project, help move, loan his stuff, build a deck, give advice, play with Shom or go to lunch.
