Here is the cake I made from scratch. Now, I'm not posting this thinking it looks as as good as Erica Finlay's; rather, I'm proud it was edible and didn't make anyone sick.

Sam and his new summer hat. He thinks he looks pretty cool in it. His forehead has a camping injury. They had a contest of who could run up a tree the farthest and as he grabbed a branch it snapped and he came tumbling down.
Mom, her oldest grandchild (15) and her youngest (2 mo.). Chris's camping injury on his face involved fire, a stick and a flaming marshmallow.
Josh and me. Nick couldn't come, but we missed him.
