actually, anything he wants is considered a "cook" around our house, but this time they really were cookies. shom and I made the cookies this morning and while I was out Nick and he finished decorating them. We made cats, ghosts, pumpkins, bats, witches and one giant gingerbread man (josh's choice). They turned out so cute.
you can't pretend that kind of joy...loving every minute (and bite) of it.

And then there's Nae. We were going to get a quick picture with her too because she "helped" as well and look what she did...put her hand right in it. She actually thought she was going to get it into her mouth before we caught her. Oh how do we know she likes frosting you ask? She got banana puffs dipped in frosting as Joshie was frosting his. Gotta love it when dada is in charge.
What a good dad. I left him home and suggested this would be such a fun project for them. And it was. Personally, I was dreading the mess, but he did a great job.
