today is nick's birthday. I have been forbidden to post anything on here about him, but I was also asked not to write anything on the sugar cookies I made for him to take to his firm today and I did that as well. 2 for 2. so, I'll just post randomness and if something about him accidentally comes up...it's really not my fault. so...
yesterday was the first time I drove by In and Out Burger and there wasn't somebody in the drive thru line. Why are there always so many people there? Yeah, it's good, don't get me wrong, but no matter the time or day...it's packed.
Joshie can read Brown Bear...so cute. I wish you could all hear his sweet little voice in your head right now like I can. We've come a long way with his language. He tries so hard. And loves school.
Nick and I have been going to the gym since the end of August. Why do guys loose weight so much quicker? I'm sure I work much harder than he does but he's looking better than me.
We (as in Nick) finally changed the air filter thing for the AC/heat. Well, apparently they're supposed to be changed every 3 months and since we've lived here for over a year now we thought it was close to being time to change ours. That's when we found out that the one we had was only a 30 day temporary pad. That's ok....we were only 13 months late.
Nick is such a good dada. He checks on Josh on nights that he takes a snack to bed just to make sure he didn't choke. He takes chars back to bed after I feed her in the night. He gives josh the last bite of his cookie when he asks for it. (weeeez). He tells nae she looks so pretty in her sunday dress. they really do love their dad.
if anyone needs blocks or plaques for crafts/vinyl projects let me know. I've started a little business. Nick has such fun with me...teasing me about spending more than I make. He got a extra good laugh when I asked him if he would take care of the business books for me.
He is a CPA now you know.
I just cut his hair and it's the best job I've ever done. I get so nervous around the ears. Why can't he just go the Super Cuts?
We're going to Casa Lupe for dinner tonight and then back to Casa Petersen for dessert and the Office.
Darryl is taking his big test (I can never remember the name of it...something to do with engineering) this weekend in Sacramento. Good luck!
Sam is doing his clinical work this semester at Mercy Hospital. It's appropriate because he says "have mercy" all the time.
I love the fall.
