For a kid who's favorite food is pancakes, commonly known as cakes in our house, he was in heaven when we took him to IHOP for dinner. "oh wow. yum. that good"... Just the response we were hoping for.
After I took a picture of that side of the table, Joshua wanted to take a picture as well. This is what we got.
Last night Joshie, Charlee and I went to my mom's house to hang out for a little bit when Nick did some sort of audit thing for Oroville Hospital. Anyway, we all had our own kind of fun. Josh watched movies, played with toys and ate cookies. Mom and I made soft caramels. We tied nae to a chair with a dish rag (just like my grandma did to me as a baby) and she hung out in the kitchen with us.
so happy. Babie (Joshua's new name for grandma) sneaked some candy on the spoon for her.

I have to try this! Great idea with the dish rag. She looks so happy. Although Ella probably would not have it.
reminds me of mom tying you guys to the chair... sigh... and then one day charlee will tie her kid to the chair... sigh...
