random order

here nae nae is holding up one finger...we like to think it's cause she's really smart and telling everyone that she is one year old...but in reality, that's probably not the case. she is just as cute though.

the whole gang. there are so many things wrong with this picture on so many levels, but we didn't get a good picture. this will have to do. yes, sam is in the picture, but at the last second he hid behind lindsay. and me... up front and center. I don't think someone of my size needs to be the closest to the camera and in the smack middle. But, I love charlee's little naked body. so, my love for her precedes my hatred of my own picture.

josh was a super helper for the party. he was excited all week long. he kept calling it a surprise party. we would ask what was happening and he would whisper, "cupcake and presents". He saw presents for charlee and said, "ah, I want presents too!". It's hard to be three when the party isn't for you. As it turns out, his family loves him VERY much and sam, grandmaree and petersen grandparents all brought him multiple presents too. lucky boy.

Joshua helped grandmaree make the rolls...as you can see. He was so proud of his work. I'm sure you can tell which ones he did

the birthday girl.

charlee's least favorite present. a pink pony from sam. it looked cute, but it does play a creepy little song. she wasn't a fan.

and her favorite present. a kai lan little car from grandma and grandpa petersen. she plays with it all the time.

we celebrated charlee's birthday on saturday. she was a princess and loved all the attention she got from her family. I made her cake (my mom saved me just a tad). We took the top layer off and let nae go to town. Joshua was a great big brother and helped her blow out the candle.

Nae nae even got phone calls. Here she is talking to her aunt stephanie on the phone. She's really good a pushing buttons.

Sam brought booker to the party. That made the day of Joshua and Charlee. He was a good doggie. Nae was even saying doggie by the end of the night...too cute.

Joshie pulled both their chairs up to have front row seats watching booker. Charlee thought it was great.
