pink camera.

my pink camera is the camera I keep in the diaper bag. whenever I upload the pictures, it's always the most random assortment of things. The majority of the pictures are blurry and a minute too late of the action. oh well. I hardly can say, "I wish I had my camera" because I usually do.
Some people call it a phase (my mother who thinks charlee can do no wrong), but I call it a funk. She is shy one moment...mad the next. Then she thinks she's the funniest girl ever and a second later she is offended. I went to have josh and charlee's pictures taken last week. She would have NOTHING to do with it. I'll have to scan the picture I ended up buying. I bought it so we could document the "phase" we're going through. She's teething...we'll blame it on that. Josh now likes to take pictures, but more than that he like to walk looking through the view finder of the camera. It makes for a long slow walk down the mall.

Rose Bud. She loves the water. They both do. She is growing so fast. I think she thinks of herself as a three year old. In charge and annoyed with us. we love her so much. I can't help but kiss those little cheeks.

Loves the pool. Loves to jump.

and yes, we did paint. we took a long 3 day weekend and then nick took one more day off to finish it up. very happy with it. joshua's new habit is sleeping. hoping it's just a growth spurt. 17 hours is his record, but we did have to wake him up for church after those 17 hours. now that I think about it I'm pretty sure it is a growth spurt because we went to mcdonalds with my mom last week and he ate 11 chicken mcnuggets. He might of eaten more, but how many were we suppose to buy a 3 year old? nick and I just passed our six years since dating mark. that was fun. I was hoping he'd bring me a piece of cake like he did back then, but he didn't. maybe next year. I rubbed his hair and he brought me cake...we had each other at hello. got nick nutra lawn for father's day...now our grass is dark, luscious and beautiful. I never thought I'd be one to admire a lawn. we'll be driving and see one and we'll all ooooh and ahhhhh. charlee has finally grown out of her size 2 shoes. I think josh wore size 2 for like a day, but charlee has tiny feet. she can walk now. not great at it. all of a sudden she'll just topple over and be flat on her back. I'm sure that's embarrassing for her. she spent the night at her grandmaree's house and cried when she had to come home. I told her we felt the same way. :). we had both kids in bed before 9 tonight. we've been bad this summer. staying up late and sleeping in. it's hard because it's so hot, by the time it cools down there is a neighborhood party going on past 9 at night. it's hard to come in when there's a party going on...at least it is for shom. nae likes to give fist bumps now. She thinks she is so cool. These kids are growing up too fast.

1 I've got something to say:

Whenever my girls would be moody (you could actually call it PMS-y) people would always blame it on their teething, too! Turns out I just have crabby kids. Kaylee especially. Hopefully it is just a phase for you.
