oh yes, it's true. I went to the American Idol concert last night at the Arco Arena. There were two prominent groups there, the young girls yelling for tim urban and aaron kelly. and my group. the youngish moms screaming for lee (yes, we are on a first name basis now) and casey james.
my sweet husband got my four tickets for my birthday. so, I took some fellow fan friends with me. we had so much fun. erica instantly hit it off with a chatterbox and they had a lengthy conversation about c-sections, abortions and the general "look how cute you are pregnant" stuff. once we got her back, we had fun. well. except. wouldn't you know it, I sat by the only anti-lee fan in the whole place. I should have known something was up when they announced casey and she went crazy (as crazy as an old large lady who didn't get out of her chair could go). well. they announce lee and through my excitement and yelling and waving and trying to get his attention I notice from the corner of my eye... not only is she doing TWO THUMBS DOWN she was also BOOING!!! who does that...at american idol? We may have been elbow to elbow all night, but there was a rift a mile wide between us after that!

erica and I. I think I've pretty much got her convinced to name the baby magnus after that night.

don't be jealous. I know you all wish you would have been as up close and personal as I was with Lee last night. I do believe he and I made eye contact at one point during Hallelujah.
