Our Diners, Drive Ins and Dives tour continues. Nick and I went to a wedding this past weekend so we took the opportunity to hit up some local joints. There were two more in Santa Rosa that we really wanted to go to, but as much as we wanted to, we just couldn't eat anymore.
Squeeze Inn: So wonderful. The cheese was so delish. I think they are always busy. This isn't the exact location that Guy was at because they got busted after the show aired for not being handicap accessible. Lame. I guess even people in wheelchairs want a dang good cheese skirt. :)
I barely made a dent in this hamburger...but of course I insisted on getting my own. In the end, I just picked the cheese off. I don't want to be a complainer, but Nick's cheese skirt was way better than mine. He's such a good husband...he gave me his. I would have never done that for him. :)

In Santa Rosa we hit up Hank's Creekside for breakfast. We sat by the window overlooking a little creek...so pretty. so delicious. so fun. so much food. by the time we got back in the car I was stuffed and ready for a nap.
I got blitzes....I think. I can't really remember the name. I'll have to ask nick. basically crepes filled with ricotta cheese dipped in sour cream and raspberry preserves. a very angelee thing to get. yum.

those crepes don't sound good at all. It is such an odd combination of ricotta cheese and sour cream. I think I might try them just to see if they are actually good. It also seems like an odd breakfast thing. Were the sweet at all? Or did you have to use the preserves to make them sweet? Interesting.
I think thats so cool that you guys have been. Josh has been wanting to do that and he even got them programmed into our GPS.
I love blitzes and hamburgers! Yum! I would never give Dave my cheese skirt either, but he would give me his! Hah!

Yes! I love triple D! Dave went to "Squeeze In" yesterday for lunch with some friends and said it was awesome! I saw the clip of Guy there and them making a burger and that cheese looked super gross to me. I'm glad you liked it! Next time you are in Sac you need to go to "Jaime's Bar & Grill" (I think?) Dave, Jeff, Steph and I went and split three things. All of them were super amazing! Esp the smoked prime rib!
