never again.

I semi stole this idea from some blog erica now has me addicted to. I made it on photoshop and framed it. 16x20. I'm putting in...you guessed it, the playroom.

ok, but this post is really about this gift. it's so gosh awful. It was what I gave Kaylee for her baby shower. I should have taken a pic of the actual gift cause that was cute. i am documenting how ghetto white trash this wrapping is. In case the picture does it justice I'll let you in on it. peach tissue paper (2 sheets that when over lapped barely cover it up), orange curling ribbon and no card. as i walked in i decided that never again would i put such little effort into wrapping a gift. at christmas stephanie's gifts had the coolest wrapping and nice bows (real ones, not what I do or the smashed ones out of the bag...with like real ribbon). It was so fun to open a gift like that. and now this reminds me of an oprah show I watched once where she talked about the presentation being an extension of the gift. so, lucky is the next person who gets a gift from me.

3 I've got something to say:

I loved it anyways and if it makes you feel any better, I have received presents that have been wrapped much worse, from my mom. She is classic for just handing you something in the Wal-Mart/Old Navy bag it came in!

I feel the same way now that I am older! I remember years ago I gave a baby blanket as a gift-it was really nice but I just shoved it into a gift bag that was wayyy too small (and used) and when I got to the shower I was like WHY did I do that?? So lame. But I still think of it every time I wrap a gift!
