28!!!

Am I really 28 years old? 28 isn't old, but I don't feel like I want to be that age. I have everything I could possibly want to have at this point in my life, yet, every year when this date rolls along I have such a hard time accepting it. When I turned 20 I went into my first birthday mini depression. Even then it was hard for me to accept the change. I'm getting better though. So, this birthday brings a few things. Only 2 more years until I officially start wearing comfort sandals. Today is Wednesday and I was born on a Wednesday. Sam took me out to lunch. I went out to dinner with my wonderful family. Mom made German chocolate cake (I was in the mood for coconut and pecans) and we had rainbow sherbet because I get sick after eating ice cream. The year 08' is just switched from the year 80'. I figured that out when I was filling out paperwork to be able to sub in Chico and I almost wrote my birthday as 8/13/08 instead of 8/13/80. Anyway... it was very nice to hear from so many wonderful friends and family that sent cards, called, texted, and blogged me. Thank you!!!
