the last week or so

Here are a few random pictures of the last few weeks. I feel like I've been busy and doing nothing all in one. This is my birthday cake (I think my mom had to buy like 3 boxes of candles!!!). Nick and Joshie went out birthday shopping for me and Nick let Shom pick out the card. Nick says he looked and looked and this is the first one he picked out. So, Nick made a small correction and I love it.
Berlo's favorite new game is called race track. He pulls the step stool up to the island and races his cars back and forth. This time it happened to be James and Ligthning McQueen. As of today he insists on carrying at least 5 toys around at once and he gets so frustrated cause they fall out of his arms. It took us 25 minutes to get down to the mailbox and back tonight because he would drop them as he tried to pick them up. By the end, we were both pretty frustrated.
This joke is what we got in the mail today. Anyone who knows, Joshie took swim lessons this summer and 6 month old babies were showing him up. He refused to do his kickers, he hated doing tight lips and the only thing he was good at was throwing the ball at the teacher and deciding when he was done with the lesson. So, to get this certificate in the mail from his teacher, highlighting his 'skills' is quite funny to me.
