Nick and I have very similar taste when it comes to the style and decor of our home. We agree on most everything. This bathroom was no different. Before we even moved into our house we were in Lowe's and saw a technique of paint that we loved. So, we saved the swatch and finally did it this weekend. This is our downstairs bathroom. We've already switched all the chrome hardware out with oiled bronze, now we've painted. All that is left is to install the beautiful slate flooring. That won't be for a while, after all, this is a project.

For not being crazy color people, we are quite pleased with how it turned out. And, a big thanks to my wonderful husband who stayed up and got everything put back together last night before he left on audit this week. I wasn't looking forward to a week of no bathroom. :)

I like that. Parley wants to do that in our kitchen but with gold/brown tones. I'm sure it would look great but I get nervous taking that first step. :) You guys did a great job though. Can't wait to see the rest of your house.
