tomorrow. (Is the theme music from Annie in every one's head now?) I'm having a baby tomorrow. I'm excited. I feel like I should be doing something great today, but actually it's just as I would choose it. Shom and I are spending all day together. Mostly on the couch because I'm too darn lazy to do anything else with him. He has no idea what is happening tomorrow. He is going to love being a big brother. Nick has been working a lot of hours to get all he needs to get done before he takes two weeks off. I had to have some harsh words with the poor Ashley's furniture receptionist yesterday because it's been over 11 weeks and still no couches...she said they should be getting on the truck on the 16th. So much with 8 weeks huh? Just thinking about it now gets me all mad again. I feel like they say what they need to say to get people off their backs. Yes, I'm an angry 9 month pregnant woman, but if it were up to my mom and Sam, they would have me down there in front of the store with signs...picketing. I'm not that crazy yet. So, I've registered at the hospital. I take credit for it, but since I'm having a C-section they knew I am coming so they called me. Does that still count? My bags are 90% packed and Joshie's schedule is almost all taken care of. I have to get his Easter festivities all planned out too just in case I'm not home on Sunday.
Her room is almost done. Well, it's done, but there are a few little things (pictures on the wall and simple stuff like that) that I'll try to rope poor Nick into doing tonight. My mom made beautiful curtains for the room too. Pictures to come. So, I'm charging batteries for the cameras and doing a few last loads of laundry. I'm looking forward to two new episodes of The Office tonight and I'm quite glad the judges didn't save Scott last night on American Idol.
Anyone who knows Nick knows how much he isn't a blogger. So, let's hope his love and adoration for his new little girl will motivate him to post a few pictures of her once she's born. I told him it was one of his first responsibilities as a new dad...I'm not sure if he bought it.
