another party.

we had joshua's family party at our house Saturday night. we had pancakes (his fav) and more Thomas cake. he loved blowing out his candles. he is so good at it because he practices all the time. any time we say something is hot (even the weather) he blows on it. it cracks me up. he had his first cupcake on Friday...and he's been on a cake kick ever since. we are going to have to sugar detox him after Tuesday.

underwear heads!!! Jo and Darryl got joshie some underwear for his birthday. obviously we all digressed because it started with us wanting him to put them on, but he wouldn't. then we wanted him to a least put them on his head...which he wouldn't...until everyone else did... So we did. everyone did. (bet you're sorry you missed this party huh?)

joshie truly enjoyed himself. he opened all his presents and played with them all and said thank you to everyone. This is the first year he willingly participated in his own birthday. It was fun to watch.

oh yes, that is a drum you see. what you don't see is that everyone else had an instrument as well and we all played as we marched in the parade around the house. joshie was the leader and loved it.

and what's a party if you don't end up naked with a big pink bow in your uncle's arms??? she had fun too.
