this was a fun project. and all broken up between the primary presidency it wasn't too much work. we cut the bottom off the fruit cans and refilled them with trail mix. we made one for each dad of a primary child and the kids decorated the tag.
father's day was a nice day. nick made us breakfast...and lunch now that I think of it. We gave him hugs and our gifts and it was a relaxed day. I didn't even try to make dinner because I could never outdo the BBQ with his family from the day before. (and because we still have leftovers too!!) All his favorites: smoked top sirloin, twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob, garlic bread, Waldorf salad, berry cobbler and fresh cherries. yum. I got nick a new wedding ring. he lost his at the gym a few months ago. he was sad, and although I would rather him have the original one, I just want him to have one. his hand looks naked every time I look at it.
Happy Father's Day Nick. Your family loves you!
