mi mama

today is my mom's birthday. She is young enough to have a new boyfriend, but old enough to have 5 grandchildren...so you can judge how old she is. :)

She is a good mom. She makes me separate cookies without walnuts. She buys my lunch when we go out. She watches my kids. She buys me my fav chocolate shake when she goes to Carb Essentials. She helps me plan different lessons or projects I have going on. She even gave me her Kolh's cash one time. She stops by to visit. She knows how I feel when I have too much going on. And I'm just one of four of her children. I know we take up a lot of her time and money, but I'm glad she has us...just kidding. I'm glad that we have her. Josh and Charlee got to spend one night at Grandma's this past week. They loved it. When I called her at 9:30 at night they were still awake. Her response was, "Hey, what happens at Grandma's...stays at Grandma's". Some of my fondest memories as a kid were at my Grandma's house...which now happens to be my kids grandma's house too... Anyway, I know they too are making their fond memories. Who wouldn't love to watch unlimited movies, eat cereal in the living room and stay up as late as you want.
too bad char char looks like a rag-a-muffin in this picture. while mom was trying to fix her hair, she broke both rubber bands, dropped her (she claims nae jumped off her lap) and then nae thought it was a game to pull at her hair. plus we are growing out those bands. there aren't any excuses...she looks bad no matter how you look at it.
