it's time

When even Nick asks me when I'm going to update my blog I realize I'm way behind. I blame my delay on the lack of my little red computer. I keep it downstairs, but it has something wrong with it and so coming all the way up here is so much more work. Anyway. Life is good. I've been trying to buy an iphone, but every time I go I either forget my ID or they are out of stock. Nick and I go back and forth because he says I should wait for the iphone 5. But, apple doesn't give release dates so there are only rumored dates and look how long I've lived without one...what makes me think I need the newest one. Maybe I'll go today. Josh loves school. Day 5 of school he asked me not to walk him in anymore. So independent. And, I have to have my foot on the gas because if I don't take off right when he waves goodbye then he starts to motion me out of the parking lot...pointing and mouthing, "Go". that kid. Charlee is fun. she is so busy. we spend our days putting on pink lotion, drinking pink juice, wearing pink shoes, holding babies and pandas, packing the backpack full of essential things to carry around the house. She loves Little Mermaid. We can't call Little Mermaid Ariel...we get in so much trouble. We can only refer to her as Little Mermaid. If you really want to get on her good side then you'll call Charlee Little Mermaid Big Girl. For some reason, that is really cool. She sleeps in her big girl bed and we don't even have to lock the door anymore. Josh begs to play a computer game or video game every single day. It drives me crazy. As for me, I feel like I'm slowing falling behind. I can't find my checkbook. I've forgotten my costco card the last 2 times I've gone. my red computer is broken. my car needs gas...not to mention a good cleaning. i should iron nick's shirts to be nice. i need to go through clothing that is too small for josh and charlee and I have a ton of projects (invitations and pictures) that I need to get done.

My mom is getting married. in December. she is very happy. we're all happy for her. john is very nice. he puts up with all of us. and that isn't always easy to do. he got me the most beautiful birthday cake I've ever received for my birthday. very sweet. jo and i went wedding dress shopping with my mom. we had fun making bridezilla jokes and comments like, "...do it, you only get married once".
